The 2009 Wisconsin State Firefighters Memorial Bike Ride is happening on July 25th. This ride is dedicated to the Firefighters of Wisconsin recognizing not only those who have given their lives as the ultimate sacrifice, but also to honor all those who have and continue to serve their respective communities in this wonderful State of Wisconsin. All proceeds raised on the day of the ride will help support the Wisconsin State Firefighters Memorial Park in Wisconsin Rapids. If you have not seen or heard about this park, please visit the website at www.wsfm.org. The ride will be starting in Sauk City at Sauk Prairie Harley Davidson. Pre-registration will available online as well as the day of ride from 8:30-11am. There will be a ceremonial colors presentation at 11:15am followed by the start of the ride at 11:30am . The ride will go from Sauk City to Firefighters Park in Hustisford were everyone will enjoy a wonderful dinner which is included in admission of the ride. There will be two stops between Sauk City and Hustisford with the first stop being Poynette where lunch will be serve, also included in the admission. The second stop will be at Fireman's Park in Columbus and then on to Hustisford were there will be a final ceremony. All funds raised on this day will be support the The Wisconsin State Firefighters Memorial Park.
