In the past the two biggest issues we had with the Frequent Rocker Auctions were:
- People having an insane number of accounts. Because it was email based you could just open a ton of gmail accounts and cheat the system. This is Text Based so your cell phone number is the unique code, not your email. This makes it harder to do that. Most people don’t own 100 cell phones.
- Keywords at specific times. No keywords. You listen to JJO and you rate the song playing. You get points. There are also other cool ways to earn points that we will get to in a bit.
The all new VIP Frequent Rocker is a social network and texted based platform that allows you to interact with JJO and fellow JJO listeners like never before.
So lets get you started on the new JJO VIP Frequent Rocker.
Step 2: Create your account.
Step 3: Create your profile.
Step 4: Start rating songs, making friends, writing blogs, posting pics and earning points.
A few tips:
- The Welcome window in the upper right corner is your main hub. That is where you track your bids, confirm your points, tag your songs. There will be surveys and other points opportunities updated in this section as well.
- Rating a song for points. Rate the song on a 1 to 5 scale and choose if you want to hear it more or less by adding an M or an L to the text (not caps lock sensitive). So if you text 5m to 24493 you have said you love the song and want to hear it more. 1l is the opposite. YOU MUST RATE THE SONG WHILE IT IS PLAYING. Remember to get your points you must confirm your score in the welcome window “Review TXT Ratings” link.
- You can also text the word “tag” to 24493 to mark a song so you can remember it.
You can rate songs all day everyday up til 7p and then can start again at Midnight. This will be opened eventually.
Remember the 5 digit text number (24493) for VIP Frequent Rocker is different from the regular JJO 5 digit text number (40481). The regular JJO number will not work on the VIP program.
