BIG TOURING & MAJOR VENUE SHOWS
- TURNSTILE with Texas Is The Reason and Haywire
The Rave / Eagles Club, Milwaukee — Wednesday, September 9 — Doors 7:00 | Show 7:30 PM
Turnstile bring their explosive mix of hardcore punk, alternative rock, and melodic aggression to Milwaukee. Legendary emo/post-hardcore pioneers Texas Is The Reason add some serious ’90s pedigree, while Haywire brings another dose of modern hardcore energy. This is a road trip for anyone who likes their punk fast, loud, and impossible to stand still for.
- Mannequin Pussy with Finom
The Sylvee, Madison — Thursday, September 10 — Doors 6:30 PM | Show 8:00 PM
Ladies to the front! Mannequin Pussy bring a wildly dynamic blend of punk, indie rock, noise, and post-hardcore to The Sylvee. Their music can jump from melodic and vulnerable to absolutely ferocious in the same song, making them one of the more unpredictable live bands on this week’s calendar. Finom adds an off-kilter indie-rock edge to the bill.
- The Browning with Deadlands, The Crimson Armada & Blind Equation
Majestic Theatre, Madison — Thursday, September 10 — Doors 6:00 PM | Show 7:00 PM
If electronic-infused metal is your thing, this is your Thursday. The Browning mash metalcore, industrial metal, EDM, and electronic programming into one seriously heavy package, while Deadlands bring modern metalcore, The Crimson Armada deliver technical/melodic metalcore, and Blind Equation add a cyberpunk-flavored electronicore sound.
- Adelitas Way with Kingdom Collapse and 3 Pill Morning
High Noon Saloon, Madison — Sunday, September 13 — Doors 6:00 PM |Show 7:00 PM
Adelitas Way bring their polished blend of hard rock, alternative metal, and radio-ready hooks to High Noon. Kingdom Collapse add modern active rock and metal influences, while 3 Pill Morning brings another dose of melodic hard rock to round out a solid Sunday-night bill.
- House Of Heavy
The Rave / Eagles Club, Milwaukee — Friday, September 11 —Doors 7:00 | Show 7:30 PM
House Of Heavy is your excuse to make the Milwaukee run and spend the night surrounded by loud guitars and heavy music. Expect a multi-band showcase built around modern hard rock and metal rather than a single headliner—and plenty of reasons to stay close to the stage.
EMERGING & LOCAL BANDS
- Wretched with Jingleheimer, Tu’mera, & Relic
The Annex, Madison — Thursday, September 10 — Doors 6:30 | Show 7:00 PM
Wretched bring technical and melodic death metal to The Annex for a night aimed squarely at the heavier side of Madison’s underground. Jingleheimer, Tu’mera, and Relic round out the bill with more extreme-metal and heavy sounds, making this a strong pick if you prefer your Thursday with blast beats instead of cocktails.
- Granny Shot
Waterloo Fireman’s Park, Waterloo — Saturday, September 12 — Show 8:00 PM – 12:00 PM
Madison-area favorites Granny Shot bring their high-energy rock cover-band sound to Waterloo for a full night of live music. It’s the kind of outdoor bar-and-band setup that works perfectly for cold drinks, familiar riffs, and a Saturday night that doesn’t require a trip into downtown Madison.
MORE EVENTS WORTH CHECKING OUT

The Wham Bam Tailgate Jam is your Saturday pregame before the evening gets rolling. Hang out with Johnny & Dee, grab some food, drinks, and live-event energy at Tanner’s followed up with the Wisconsin vs. Western Illinois game!🤘
BAR-HEAVY LATE-NIGHT ROUTES
- Doing The Sylvee or High Noon? Keep your night on the Near East Side so you are not burning half the evening in a rideshare when the encore wraps.
- Heading to Majestic Theatre means downtown is your easiest before-and-after play, especially if you want a walkable night that can stretch from doors to last call energy.
- If Thursday has you torn between The Browning downtown and Mannequin Pussy on Livingston or Wretched on Regent, pick your lane early because both shows are strong and the cross-downtown bounce will eat your momentum.
- For the Milwaukee run to Turnstile, make it a straight concert mission instead of overcomplicating it—get in, park smart, catch the set, and save the long after-hours wandering for Madison another night.
- Sunday at High Noon for Adelitas Way is a good excuse to keep things simple: dinner, loud guitars, one more bar stop, then ease into Monday like a responsible troublemaker.
ROCK LIFESTYLE THINGS TO DO
- Make Thursday a split-decision night and debate The Sylvee, The Majestic, Or The Annex over a burger before committing to your loud option.
- Use a lighter Monday or Tuesday for a vinyl dig and save your ears for the Thursday double-shot.
- If you are doing the Milwaukee road trip Wednesday, build a driving playlist around the bands on the bill and let the highway be part of the show.
- Turn Sunday into a full active-rock reset: late afternoon recharge, Adelitas Way at High Noon, then one calm capper before the workweek starts barking again.
- When the calendar goes thinner than usual, that is your cue for pool tables, darts, and a jukebox night instead of forcing a weak plan.
WHERE TO GO BY NIGHT
Monday, September 7 — Labor Day Reset ☀️
Hope you enjoyed a relaxing Labor Day. Grill something, crack a cold one, and enjoy the last little bit of summer before the week gets loud.
Tuesday, September 8 — Record Store Run 💿
Another lighter verified night, so hit the record store, grab a burger, and stock up on some new tunes before Thursday’s schedule starts getting ridiculous.
Wednesday, September 9 — Milwaukee Road Trip 🤘
TURNSTILE with Texas Is The Reason & Haywire is the clear move at The Rave. If you’re willing to make the Milwaukee run, this is the week’s first big punch and a hell of a way to kick things off.
Thursday, September 10 — Pick Your Poison ⚡
Thursday is absolutely stacked. Hit Mannequin Pussy + Finom at The Sylvee for punk, indie and alternative energy, The Browning + Deadlands, The Crimson Armada & Blind Equation at the Majestic for the heavy stuff, or Wretched + Jingleheimer, Tu’mera, & Relic at The Annex if you want to go straight into the underground metal pit.
Friday, September 11 — Speedway → Heavy Metal 🏁🤘
Start the night at Jefferson Speedway with the JJO crew, then point the car toward Milwaukee for House Of Heavy at The Rave. If you’re staying local, keep it simple with a jukebox, patio and a few drinks before the weekend really gets rolling.
Saturday, September 12 — FULL SEND SATURDAY 🔥
This one starts early and doesn’t quit. Smoke In The Valley at Prem Meats from 12–2, Wham Bam Tailgate Jam at Tanner’s from 4:15–6:15, then finish the night with Granny Shot at Waterloo Fireman’s Park from 8–midnight. That’s basically a full-day Wisconsin rock-and-roll road map.
Sunday, September 13 — Madison Finale 🎸
Adelitas Way + Kingdom Collapse + 3 Pill Morning at High Noon gives you a clean active-rock finish to the week. Doors are at 6:00 PM with music at 7:00, so you can get your final loud fix without completely wrecking Monday morning.
